Indonesia OBI Ferronickel Metallurgical Plant Project

Project highlight： The project is located in the western mining area of OBI Island, North Maluku Province, covering an area of about 140 hectares. It includes 87000 ton nickel metal smelter, 8 sets of 48000kVA submerged arc furnaces, 8 ∅5.5*110m rotary kilns, 8 ∅5.5*50m drying kilns, 6 sets of 55000Nm3/h coal gas generators with public and auxiliary facilities. The pyrometallurgical process is adopted and 8 RKEF ferronickel production lines are equipped. After completion, the annual output of ferronickel is 870000 tons, and nickel metal is 87000 tons.
